Incredible performance by The Aerial Studio as the Warriors break Chase Center ground with dancing cranes, fireworks, and acrobatics.
The Golden State Warriors broke ground in San Francisco on Monday afternoon at the future site of the Chase Center. The ceremony included speeches from San Francisco Mayor Edwin M. Lee, Owners Joe Lacob and Peter Gruber, Steve Kerr and Kevin Durant and The Aerial Studio's very own Kevin Holland and Aaron Nelson (Aerialists) and Josh Rasile and Ed Bossert (Stuntmen and Parkour).
Kevin Holland and Aaron Nelson are graduates of The Aerial Studio's teen troupe program and were able to have had this amazing experience on a professional rig.
Great Job Team!

More than 700 dignitaries, Warriors officials and media members packed
a bayside tent, only to be awed by a grand finale that was equal parts
pomp and circumstance. The curtain that featured an image of the arena
was raised, the sun poured in, and construction equipment came to life as
if this was a scene straight from Disney’s “Fantasia.” Add in the cheery
choir performance at the start, Kevin Durant saying, "That he’ll stick around
long enough to play in the building a few seasons from now," and the fact
that the Warriors had routed their rival Cleveland Cavaliers just hours
before, and the mood among those in attendance couldn’t have been

Inversions with @airealyoga at Wanderlust in Whistler, British Columbia. One month ago I was involved in bad car accident that left me feeling pretty whiplashed. I have been going through rigorous chiropractic treatment and physical therapy, and honestly, after taking this class it is the best I have felt since the accident. If you have the chance, I highly recommend taking a restorative aerial yoga class with @carmenraecurtis @wanderlustfest #findyourtruenorth

So who is this Gregg Curtis, some of you may be wondering?
For those of you who don't know this crazy genius, Gregg is kind of a big deal. His creativity has propelled him through an incredible international career in the performing arts starting with his time as a
national champion gymnast.
Gregg trained at the US Olympic Training Center from 1990-1993 and was at one time the best male gymnast in America. (He was one of the first men to be able to do a triple back!)
October was crazy busy for Gregg!
He was the Technical Producer for #FuerzaBruta at the #AdobeMaxBash2015. Working with Special Occassion Events. He was responsible for all the technical aspects of bringing the Mylar number from Buenos Aires, Argentina and ensuring that we were able to comply with an extremely technical rider.
Can imagine when you are moving a pool of water with six people on it over the audiences head - Yikes!
It was an honor for him to work with the director Fabio who's character Gregg had played 10 years ago in Delaguarda.
He was also working with the Red Bull High Performance Team Athletes (#RBHighperformance) in the "performing under pressure workshop series". Along side Cirque Du Soleil Director and my former cast-mate Benoit Potvin, we offered these athletes a glimpse of the creative process of Cirque Du Soleil. The athletes involved where:
Kirsten Sweetland, Sarah Hendrickson, Tatum Monod, Michelle Parker, Mike "Flamesword" Chavez, JT Holmes, Aaron Colton, Bobby Brown, DK Walsh, Shaun Walsh, Will Weisman, Alex Debelov, Jake Paul.
This past summer, Carmen and her family (Gregg, Zoe & Jude), packed up the motor home and brought AIReal Yoga™ to Wanderlust Festivals all over the U.S.
"When I teach I feel at my highest self, so completely open, without judgment, selfless, giving, and truly wanting only the best for my students. Teaching is my passion. Teaching is who I am. " - Carmen

The Aerial Studio took a team of 11 artists and technicians to The Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas to perform for the man who built The Atlantis Hotel, Sun City in South Africa, The Palm Island Resort in Dubai, and The Beverly Hills Hotel. Gregg worked with Chantal Kerzner, Angel City Designs and E+ Productions to create a fantastic performance highlighting key moments in Sol Kerzner's amazing life. We shared the stage with Trevor Noah who is the new host of The Daily Show on Comedy Central, R&B singer Bebe Winans and a host of remarkably talented acts. All-star Talent from The Aerial Studio included Choreographer John Patrick Cartin, Shannon Beach, Angela Buccinni, Erico Jimbo and Richard Maguire.
Gregg continues his work with The Gap corporation bringing Stepping Troupe MOLODI on a world tour. Currently the team is just leaving Tokyo and heading for Shanghai China. This will wrap up a six city tour spreading the Global Brand Vision of The Gap corporation to their international affiliates.
Gregg has also just wrapped up with Spirit Productions as Head Rigger and Technical Stage Manager for "Le Grande Cirque" in Niagara Falls, Canada. Responsible for an entire proscenium stage show and rigging of some of the most extreme circus acts such as "The Wheel of Destiny" and "Russian Swing". Gregg was in charge of calling all the cues for the show as well as getting the show on it's feet and rehearsed in only three short days.
Gregg is looking forward to some time at the studio this fall as he prepares for work with Cirque du Soleil and Red Bull as well as continual work on Wanderlust Yoga Festival and Carmen's AIReal Yoga program.
